Heard Mr. K. Mohammed, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner. Also heard Mr. D.P. Goswami, learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the State. This is an application filed under Section 438 Cr.P.C., praying for pre-arrest bail by the petitioner, namely, Fakar Uddin, in connection with Page No.# 2/2 Karimganj P.S. Case No. 357/2023, registered under Section 447/323/354/506 IPC r/w Section 3(1)(x) of Scheduled Castes & Schedules Tribes (Prevention of Atrocities) Act, 1989. Mr. Goswami, learned Additional Public Prosecutor submits that in this case, charge-sheet has already been submitted vide C.S. No. 560/2023 dated

30.11.2023. It has been submitted by the learned counsel for the petitioner that interim protection has already been granted to the petitioner by this Court vide order dated 07.06.2023. In view of above, the present petition is disposed of with a direction to the petitioner to appear before the learned court below within 10 days from today and if any bail application is filed, the same will be considered by the learned trial court in accordance with law. Till such appearance, the interim protection granted to the petitioner shall remain in force.
