¶1Heard Mr. M. Hoque, learned counsel for the petitioner. Also heard Ms. S. Jahan, learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the State of Assam Page No.# 2/2 submits that she has been informed by the Officer-In-Charge of Mangaldai Police Station that no case has been registered against the present petitioner, however, a G.D. Entry has been made, on the basis of the complaint lodged by the wife of the petitioner because of the filing of the said G.D. Entry, police personnel have called the petitioner to enquire into the matter.

¶2In view of above, this anticipatory bail application is disposed of with a direction to the petitioner to co-operate with the police and in the event if any case is registered on the basis of the compliant which has already been filed by the wife of the petitioner and if in such a case, the petitioner is arrested, he shall be allowed to go on bail of Rs. 30,000/-with a suitable surety of like amount to the satisfaction of the arresting authority, subject to the conditions that:-

(i) the petitioner shall co-operate in the investigation; and

(ii) the petitioner shall not directly or indirectly make any inducement, threat or promise to the informant or to any other persons who may be acquainted with the facts of the case so as to dissuade such person from disclosing such facts before the Investigating Officer or to any Court.

¶3With the above observations, this case is hereby disposed of.
