JUSTICE MANASH RANJAN PATHAK 12/09/2024 Heard Mr. S K Das, learned counsel for the petitioner and Mr. U Sarma, learned Standing counsel, Secondary Education Department for the sole respondent. During the pendency of this contempt petition, the Director of Secondary Education, Assam vide No. E-453405/2024/287 dated 11.09.2024 appointed the petitioner as Principal on regular basis Page No.# 2/2 and posted her at Swarna Lakhmi Higher Secondary School, Cachar. Mr. Das, learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that since the grievance of the petitioner has been complied with, the petitioner is not insisting this contempt petition. Accordingly, this contempt petition, being infructuous, stands dismissed. The notice of contempt issued upon the respondent/contemnor earlier on 24.06.2024 is hereby recalled.
