The case is put up before the National Lok Adalat. The Insurance Company is represented by its officials. The claimant, is duly present along with her engaged counsel. It is submitted that the earlier awarded amount was Rs. 7,40,400 (Rupees seven lakhs fourty thousand four hundred) only and out of which an amount of Rs. 7,85,905/- (Rupees seven laksh eighty-five thousand nine hundred five) only including 6% interest has already been deposited by the Insurance Company. Page No.# 3/3 After negotiation both the parties are agreed to settle the matter on an additional amount of Rs 4,10,000/- (Rupees four lakhs ten thousand) only as full and final settlement. Accordingly, the respondent/New India Assurance Company LTD. is hereby directed to deposit the additional settled amount of Rs 4,10,000/- (Rupees four lakhs ten thousand) only before the learned MACT, Goalpara within a period of 1 (one) month from today and the claimant will be at liberty to withdraw the same along with the earlier deposited amount of Rs. 7,85,905/- (Rupees seven laksh eighty-five thousand nine hundred five) only, if not already withdraw, on being proper verification and identification by the concerned counsel of the case. Return the Statutory deposited amount, if any, to the Insurance Company. The appeal stands disposed of in terms above.
