Heard Mr. H. R. Choudhury, learned counsel for the petitioner. And Also Mr. D. Upamanyu, learned Standing Counsel appearing for the Higher Education Department. Mr. D. Upamanyu, learned Standing Counsel has placed before this Court, an order dated 08.08.2024, by which the petitioner has been reinstated in his service with immediate effect, pending drawal of departmental proceedings as well as subject to the outcome of the criminal proceeding so instituted against the petitioner, herein. In view of the above position, the order of suspension under challenge, having been revoked, no further live issue arises in the present proceedings for adjudication and accordingly, the writ petition stands disposed of in the light of the said order dated 08.08.2024. A copy of the order dated 08.08.2024, as furnished by Mr. D. Upamanyu, learned Standing Counsel is kept on record and marked as 'X' for identification.
