13.11.2024 Heard Mr. A K Ahmed, learned counsel for the petitioners and Ms. S H Bora, learned Additional Public Prosecutor, Assam for the State. 2) The Court by order dated 28.06.2024 called for the case diary pertaining to Basistha Police Station Case No.425/2024, corresponding to G.R. No.3391/2024 registered under Section 379 of the IPC read with Section 11(1)(d) of the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals Act, 1960 read with Section 13(1)/16 of the Assam Cattle Preservation Act, 2021 and in the interim, granted pre-arrest bail to the petitioners, namely, (i) Rayej Ali, son of Chalimuddin Ahmed; and (ii) Aynul Hoque, son of Hasmat Ali, which is in force till date, i.e., 13.11.2024. 3) During the deliberation of the matter, Ms. Bora, learned Additional Public Prosecutor, Assam, on the instruction, submitted that police after completion of investigation of the case has already submitted charge-sheet in said Basistha P.S. Case No. 425/2024 vide charge-sheet No. 459/2024 dated 29.08.2024. 4) As such, the petitioners, named above, are directed to approach the appropriate forum for their regular bail on or before 22.11.2024. 5) For the said purpose, interim bail granted to the petitioners earlier on 28.06.2024 in said Basistha P.S. Case No. 425/2024 is extended up to 22.11.2024 only. 6) With the above observation and direction, this pre-arrest bail application stands disposed of.
