09.08.2024 Heard Mr. M. Saikia, the learned counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioner. Ms. M. Barman, the learned Junior Government Advocate appears on behalf of the respondents.

¶2The instant writ petition has been filed on a limited aspect in as much as the petitioner is aggrieved by the inaction on part of the Circle Officer, Azara Revenue Circle in disposing of the mutation application so filed by the petitioner.

¶3This Court vide the order dated 29.07.2024 had directed Ms. M. Barman, the learned Junior Government Advocate to obtain instructions as to why the order has not been passed. Today, it has been informed by Ms. M. Barman, the learned Junior Government Advocate on the basis of an instruction issued by the Circle Officer, Azara Revenue Circle that the petitioner's application so filed for mutation was rejected. The said instruction is kept on report and marked with the letter "X".

¶4This Court disposes of the instant writ petition thereby directing the Office of the Circle Officer, Azara Revenue Circle to provide the petitioner a certified copy of the order whereby his mutation application form was Page No.# 3/3 rejected, within 7 days from the date of application of the said order along with the certified copy of this order.
