Heard Mr. A. Sarma, learned counsel for the applicant, Mr. G. Sarma, leaned standing counsel for the Home Department and Mr. R. Talukdar, learned Govt. advocate for respondent no.6.

¶2By an order dated 29.05.2024, this Court had directed the applicant, namely, Md. Mujibur Rahman to appear before the Superintendent of Police (Border), Sivasagar on or before 20.06.2024 during the office hours along with a certified copy of the order for capturing the biometrics of iris of his both eyes, the fingerprints of his both hands and photograph(s) with conditions attached.

¶3By filing this interlocutory application, the applicant seeks extension of time to appear before the said authority on the ground that due to some illness the applicant could not appear before the Superintendent of Police (Border), Sivasagar.

¶4The prayer is allowed despite objection made by the learned Govt. advocate appearing for the respondents. Page No.# 3/3

¶5Accordingly, the applicant shall appear before the Superintendent of Police (Border), Sivasagar within 06.08.2024 in compliance of the order dated

29.05.2024.

¶6The applicant shall produce the certified copy of the order dated

29.05.2024 as well as a copy of this order before the said authority.

¶7It is provided that failing on the part of the applicant to comply with any of the directions contained in the aforesaid two orders, the bail granted to him would automatically vacated and he shall be liable to be taken into custody.

¶8This application stands disposed of.
