¶2Heard Mr. M.P. Goswami, learned Additional Public Prosecutor, Assam for the respondent State, who has raised objection.
¶3The petitioner was granted interim bail by a Coordinate Bench of this Court vide order dated 11.07.2024 as his name was not mentioned in the FIR. The allegation against the petitioner is that an unknown group of miscreants have been using the forged letter pad of the Minister of Revenue & DM, HAD, M & M Department of the Government of Assam. An FIR was lodged by the Minister.
¶4The learned Additional Public Prosecutor has submitted that there are allegations that another person has induced several innocent persons to pay money by promising them to offer them employment. The petitioner was working for the person so alleged.
¶5The merits of this case are not fore as investigation is still under progress. The petitioner, who was on interim bail, has cooperated with the investigation and has appeared before the Investigating Officer. His statement has been recorded.
¶6I have scrutinized the Case Diary. There are some materials in the Case Diary against the petitioner. I have considered the submissions at the bar with circumspection. I have considered the submission that the petitioner is willing to cooperate with the remaining part of the investigation and to abide by any stringent bail conditions if imposed upon him.
¶7Considering all aspects and in view of my foregoing discussions, the interim bail order dated 11.07.2024 is hereby made absolute under the same Page No.# 3/3 terms and conditions. .
