The victim has earlier criminal antecedents and an FIR was lodged against her relating to kidnapping a minor and demanding Rs.1,60,000/-. The FIR was registered as Moirabari Police Station case No. 73/2019 under Sections 365/34 of IPC and the informant was arrested and forwarded to custody.
¶5It is also submitted that no reasons have been assigned for the delay in lodgment of the FIR by the informant. The petitioner is directed to be released on bail forthwith subject to executing a bail bond of Rs.50,000/-(Rupees fifty thousand) only with one local surety of like amount to the satisfaction of the Chief Judicial Magistrate, Morigaon. ¶7If any of the conditions are found to be violated by the Page No.# 4/4 petitioner then the Investigating Officer shall be at liberty to seek cancellation of the bail granted to the accused.
