The matter comes upon for consideration of the I.A.(C)/2129/2024 with a prayer to condone the delay of 08 days in filing the connected writ appeal. Notice upon the respondent no. 1 has been duly served and the respondent no. 2, the Union of India is represented through the learned Deputy Solicitor General, whose name is also reflected in the Cause-list. The name of the advocates appearing on behalf of the remaining respondents is also reflected in the Cause-list. However, no one on behalf of the respondents is present and no affidavit-in-opposition of the application is filed. Having heard the submission of the learned counsel appearing for the applicants and after going through the contends of the application, we are of the view that the Page No.# 3/3 delay of 08 days in filing the connected writ appeal is liable to be condoned. Hence, the Interlocutory application is allowed and the delay of 08 days in filing the connected writ appeal is condoned. Registry is directed to register the connected writ appeal and list the same before this Court after a week, for admission.
