25/11/2024 Heard Mr. A K Boro, learned counsel for the petitioner and Mr. K K Parashar, learned Additional Public Prosecutor, Assam for the State respondent. This application under Section 483 of BNSS, 2023 has been filed by the petitioner, namely, Sri Gambheer Singh, seeking bail in Bazaricherra P.S. Case No. 99/2024 registered under Sections 22(C)/25/29 of the Narcotics Drugs and Psychotropic Substances Act, 1985, wherein the petitioner was arrested on 30.05.2024 and is in custody since then. During the deliberation of the matter, Mr. Parashar, learned Additional Public Prosecutor, Assam, on instructions submitted that police after completion of investigation of the case has already submitted charge-sheet in the said Bazaricherra P.S. Case No. 99/2024 vide Charge-Sheet No. 139/2024 dated 26.10.2024. In view of the above, the petitioner may approach the appropriate forum for his regular bail in said Bazaricherra P.S. Case No. 99/2024. With the above observation and direction, this bail application stands disposed of.
