Heard Mr. A. Lal, learned counsel for the petitioners. Also heard Mr. P. Borthakur, learned Additional Public Prosecutor for the State respondent. This application, preferred by the accused/petitioner praying for correction of the cause title in connection with Bail Application Case No. 1980/2024. It is submitted by the learned counsel for the petitioner that, due to an inadvertent error, the connected Bail Application No. 1980/2024 was filed under Section 439 of the Code of Criminal Procedure, 1973, instead of Section 483 of the Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita, 2023. Accordingly, he prays for a correction of the cause title in the aforementioned bail application. In view of the above, this Interlocutory Application is allowed. Accordingly, the cause title in the connected Bail Application No. 1980/2024 stands corrected and modified as follows: "The application is filed under Section 483 of the Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhhita, 2023."
