Heard Mr. A. Lal, learned counsel for the applicants. Also heard Mr. P. Borthakur, learned Additional Public Prosecutor for the State respondent. This interlocutory application is preferred by the applicants, praying to make correction in the cause title. The learned counsel for the applicants submits that they inadvertently filed the connected Bail Application No.1978/2024 under Section 439 of the Code of Criminal Procedure, 1973 instead of Section 483 of the Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita, 2023. Therefore, he prays for correction of the same. The prayer is allowed. Accordingly, the Bail Application No.1978/2024 filed under Section 439 of the Code of Criminal Procedure, 1973 shall be considered as filed under Section 483 of Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita, 2023. With above observation, this interlocutory application stands disposed of.
