¶2He also submitted that the name of respondent Nos. 3 & 4 may be struck off since the appeal is with regard to the quantum of the award. The instant application is for condonation of delay of 6 days in filing Appeal against the judgment and award dated 27.03.2023 passed by the learned Member, MACT No. 2, Kamrup (M) in MAC Case No. 2176/2019. The learned counsel for the applicant submits that the delay of 6 (six) days in filing the instant appeal has been explained in paragraph 2 of the application. Considering the submissions of the learned counsel for the applicant and on perusal of the explanation given in paragraph 2 of the application, this Court finds that the delay of 6 (Six) days in filing the appeal has been explained satisfactorily and there is no laches Page No.# 3/3 and negligence on the part of the applicant.
