Heard Mr. J Sarmah learned counsel for the applicant. The present application is filed seeking impleadment of Sri Anurag Goyel, Chief Electoral Officer, Election Department, Assam Secretariat, Block-C, 4th Floor, Dispur, Guwahati as respondent No.3 in the connected Cont.Cas(C) No.91/2024. Perused the statements made in the petition and also perused the order dated 09.09.2021 whereby, the respondents were directed to pay the outstanding amount to the petitioner as per the entitlement. The Chief Electoral Officer was also a party respondent in the aforesaid writ petition. Also perused the communication dated 19.07.2024, whereby the present Chief Electoral Officer, namely, Anurag Goyel was intimated as regards the direction issued by this court. Considering the matter in entirety, this court is of the view that Anurag Goyel shall be a necessary in this proceeding and accordingly the present application stands allowed by impleading Sri Anurag Goyel as respondent No.3 in this present case. In terms of the above, the I.A stands disposed of.
