¶2This is an application under Section 438 of the CrPC in respect of PRC No.1485/2019 pending in the court of learned JMFC, Hojai, Sankardev Nagar.

¶3The petitioner has been shown as an absconder in the charge sheet filed in under Section 364(A) of the Indian Penal Code.

¶4Now, the petitioner apprehends that if he appears before the trial court, he will be remanded to custody.

¶5The petitioner has submitted that he is interested to face the trial.

¶6Considering the submissions made by the learned counsel of both sides, the prayer of the petitioner is allowed.

¶7It is hereby by directed that in the event of his appearance, the petitioner Sri Krishna Laskar @ Krishna Kanta Laskar shall be released on bail in respect of PRC No.1485/2019 pending in the court of learned JMFC, Hojai, Sankardev Nagar of ₹20,000/- with a surety of like amount to the satisfaction of the learned trial court. With the aforesaid direction, the bail application stands disposed of.
