BEFORE HON'BLE MR. JUSTICE MANASH RANJAN PATHAK 06/09/2024 Heard Ms. H Ahmed, learned counsel for the petitioner and Mr. R J Baruah, learned Additional Public Prosecutor, Assam. The petitioner was arrested on 21.03.2024 in connection with Bazaricherra P.S. Case No. 57/2024 under Sections 22(C)/25/29 of the NDPS Act corresponding to G.R. No. 582/2024 – Special

(NDPS) Case No. 38/2024 and since then he is in custody. Hence, this bail application filed by the petitioner under Section 483 of the Bhartiya Nagarik Page No.# 2/2 Suraksha Sanhita, 2023. During the deliberation of the matter, Mr. R J Baruah, learned Additional Public Prosecutor, Assam, has submitted that police after completion of investigation submitted the charge-sheet in said Bazaricherra P.S. Case No. 57/2024 on 31.07.2024 vide Charge-Sheet No. 107/2024. In view of the above, Ms. Ahmed, learned counsel for the petitioner is not pressing this bail application and has submitted that the petitioner shall approach the appropriate forum for his regular bail. Accordingly, this bail application, being not pressed, stands dismissed.
