Heard Mr. S.K. Goswami, learned counsel for the applicant.

¶2This interlocutory application, is preferred by the applicant, Oriental Insurance Company Ltd., for staying the operation of the judgment and award dated 07.06.2024, passed by the learned Member, M.A.C.T., Kamrup (M) at Guwahati, in M.A.C. Case No. 586/2018.

¶3It appears that the connected appeal has already been admitted and the record has also been called for from the learned Tribunal.

¶4Mr. Goswami, learned counsel for the applicant submits that the applicant is willing to deposit a sum of Rs. 20,00,000/- before the Registry of this Court.

¶5Accordingly, this interlocutory application is allowed and the operation of the judgment and award dated 07.06.2024 stands stayed, subject to depositing Rs. 20,00,000/- of the awarded amount by the applicant before the Registry of this Court within a period of 2 (two) weeks from today.

¶6In terms of above, this application stands disposed of.
