24.10.2024 Heard Mr. S Deka, learned counsel for the petitioner and Mr. K K Parashar, learned Additional Public Prosecutor, Assam for the State. 2) By this application filed under Section 438 of the Code of Criminal Procedure, 1973, under Section 482 of the Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita, 2023, the petitioner, namely, Sri Dharmeswar Nath, son of Late Padmaram Nath, resident of Village Bamanijan, Khalihamari, Police Station-Raha, district-Nagaon, has prayed for his pre-arrest bail in connection with Raha Police Station Case No. 86/2024 registered under Sections 354/354(A) of the Indian Penal Code, 1860, read with Section 8 of POCSO Act, 2012, corresponding to GR No. 1413/2024. 3) During the deliberation of the matter, Mr. K K Parashar, learned Additional Public Prosecutor, on the instruction, has submitted that police after investigating the matter submitted the charge sheet in said Raha Police Station Case No. 86/2024 on 08.10.2024 vide charge sheet No. 120/2024. 4) In view of the above, the petitioner is directed to approach the appropriate forum Page No.# 3/3 for his regular bail in said Raha Police Station Case No. 86/2024. 5) Accordingly, this pre-arrest bail application stands closed.
