¶2Ms. M. Barman, the learned counsel has placed before this Court the instructions dated 24.09.2024 issued by the Joint Secretary to the Government of Assam, Revenue & Disaster Management Department wherein it has been mentioned that in compliance to the order passed by this Court, the Revenue and Disaster Management Department has released the budget allotment of Rs.2,00,000/- for the Next of the Kin of Late Bhola Das @ Bholaram Das to the D.D.O concerned vide online budget for making payment of the ex-gratia payment to the petitioner in the instant case. The said instructions are kept on record and marked with the letter 'X'.

¶4Taking into account that the amount of Rs.2,00,000/- to which the petitioner herein would be entitled to has already been released to the D.D.O. concerned and it is submitted by the Respondents that the amount be duly disbursed within 10 days, this Court closes the Contempt Proceedings with a specific direction to disburse the amount to the petitioner within 10 days.

¶5In that view of the matter, the instant Contempt Proceedings stands dropped.
