04.11.2024 Heard Mr. R Islam, learned counsel for the petitioner and Mr. B Sarma, learned Additional Public Prosecutor, Assam for the state. 2) The petitioner, namely, Shirajul Sk. @ Shirajul Sheikh, son of Abdul Jalil Sheikh, resident of village-Uttar Maragadadhar, Police Station-Agomani under Dhubri District have Page No.# 2/2 filed this application under Section 482 of the BNSS, 2023 seeking pre-arrest bail apprehending his arrest in Changsari Police Station Case No. 66/2024 registered under Sections 420/406 of the IPC, corresponding to GR No. 273(K)/2024. 3) Earlier, the Court by order dated 20.08.2024, while calling for the case diary of said Changsari Police Station Case No. 66/2024, granted interim bail to the petitioner, named above, in said Changsari Police Station Case No. 66/2024, fixing the matter today. 3) During the deliberation of the matter, Mr. Sarma, learned Additional Public Prosecutor, Assam, on the instruction, has submitted that police after completion of investigation of the case has already submitted charge-sheet in said Changsari Police Station Case No. 66/2024 vide charge-sheet No. 151/2024 dated 18.09.2024. 4) As such, the petitioner, named above, is directed to approach the appropriate forum/authority for his regular bail in said Changsari Police Station Case No. 66/2024 on or before 14.11.2024. 5) Till then, (i.e. 14.11.2024), the petitioner shall remain on interim bail granted him earlier on 20.08.2024 in said Changsari Police Station Case No. 66/2024. 6) With the above observation and direction, this pre-arrest bail application stands disposed of.
