01.10.2024 Heard Mr. S Upadhay, learned counsel appearing for the petitioners. Also heard Mr. P. Saikia, learned Government Advocate, Assam for the opposite party No. 2, Mr. R.S. Ronghang, learned Standing counsel KAAC, for the opposite party Nos. 1 and 2, as well as Mr. S. Das, learned Standing counsel, Higher Education, Assam for the opposite party No. 3.

¶2Pursuant to the order dated 03.05.2024, passed in the connected WP(C) No. 5519/2023, the petitioner of the said WP(C) No. 5519/23 as applicant, has filed this interlocutory application for impleadement of the Chairman, State Level Police Recruitment Board, Rehabari, Guwahati, Assam, as party respondent No. 4 in the connected WP(C) No. 5519/2023.

¶3It is seen that the Chairman, State Level Police Recruitment Board, Rehabari, Guwahati, Assam, is the authority concerned, who issued the Page No.# 3/3 relevant Advertisement dated 30.12.2018, involving the said WP(C) No. 5519/2023.

¶4It is found that the Chairman, State Level Police Recruitment Board, Rehabari, Guwahati, Assam, is a necessary party for proper adjudication of the said WP(C) No. 5519/2023.

¶5Considering the above, the Chairman, State Level Police Recruitment Board, Rehabari, Guwahati, Assam, be impleaded as respondent No. 4 in the connected WP(C) No. 5519/2023.

¶6The registry shall accordingly do the needful by correcting the cause title.

¶7This Interlocutory Application accordingly stands allowed .
