29/10/2024 Heard Mr. A Das, learned counsel for the petitioners and Ms. S H Bora, learned Additional Public Prosecutor, Assam for the State.

¶2The petitioners, namely, (1) Shri Lakshman Ray and (2) Sri Tulendra Ray Medhi, have filed this application under Section 482 of Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita, 2023, seeking pre-arrest bail apprehending their arrest in Bongaigaon P.S. Case No. 554/2023 registered under Sections 120(B)/379/413 IPC, 1860 read with Section 59 of the Assam Forest Regulation 1891.

¶3The Court by order dated 21.08.2024 granted interim bail to the petitioners, named above, in said Bongaigaon P.S. Case No. 554/2023.

¶4During the deliberation of the matter, Ms. Bora, learned Additional Public Prosecutor, Assam on instruction submitted that police after completion of investigation of the case has submitted final report in the said Bongaigaon P.S. Case No. 554/2023 vide Final Report No. 56/2024 dated

31.08.2024.

¶5In view of the above, this pre-arrest bail application of the petitioner, being infructuous stands rejected.

¶6Interim bail granted to the petitioners on 21.08.2024 in said Bongaigaon P.S. Case No. 554/2023 is hereby recalled/stands vacated.
