20.11.2024 Heard Ms. L. Wajeda, learned counsel for the applicant. None has appeared for the respondents. This I.A. has been filed with a prayer to set aside the order dated 16.08.2024 passed in WP(C) No.7411/2013 dismissing the same for default on the part of the writ petitioner. The applicant has explained the circumstances under which the learned counsel could not remain present before the Court when the matter was called up, thus, leading to issuance of the order dated 16.08.2024. Despite issuance of notice, none has appeared for the respondents nor has any objection been filed opposing the prayer made in the I.A. In view of the above, this Court is of the opinion that the prayer for restoration of the writ petition deserves to be accepted by this Court. Accordingly the order dated 16.08.2024 is hereby set aside. The writ petition being WP(C) No.7411/2013 is hereby restored to its original file. The I.A. stands disposed of.
