Heard Mr. A. Ali, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner. I have also heard Ms. S.H. Bora, learned Additional Public Prosecutor for the State of Assam. This is an application under Section 482 of the BNSS, 2023 praying for pre-Page No.# 2/2 arrest bail in respect of Boko P.S. Case No.267/2024, registered under Sections 489(A)/489(B)/489(C) of the Indian Penal Code. The police recovered fake currency notes from the house of the petitioner. The case diary has sufficient incriminating materials against the petitioner. For the aforesaid reasons, the petitioner, Asuruddin does not deserve to be given the privilege of anticipatory bail. Therefore, his pre-arrest bail application is rejected. Case diary shall be returned.
