22.07.2024 Heard Mr. A. Khanikar, learned counsel for the petitioner and also heard Mr. S. Borthakur, learned counsel for the respondent Nos.2 and 3. Assailing the selection of the respondent No.4 as the retail outlet dealer of petroleum for Deomali in the district of Tirap, Arunachal Pradesh, the writ petition has been filed contending that the respondent BPCL have acted in violation of their guidelines framed for selection of the retail outlet dealer. This Court had issued notice on 29.07.2019 and the petitioner was to take steps upon the respondent Nos.2, 3 and 4. The petitioner's counsel submits that he has not been able to communicate with his client for the last 5 years. The proceeding of the Lawazima Court dated 10.06.2024 shows that the petitioner has not taken steps for service of notice upon the respondent No.4. In view of above, this Court is of the view that the petitioner is not interested in pursuing the matter. The writ petition is accordingly dismissed for not complying with the directions to take steps for service of notice upon the respondent No.4. Comparing Assistant Sd/- Michael Zothankhuma JUDGE
