ORDER Date : 29 .08. 2024 Heard Mr. M.Z. Shah, learned counsel for the applicant/petitioner, Sri Jitendra Chauhan, who has filed this interlocutory application and has submitted through this application that there was an error in the cause title of A.B. No. Page No.# 2/2 1754/2024 wherein it has been in advertently mentioned that "an application under Section 438 of the Code of Criminal Procedure, 1973 praying for pre-arrest bail" instead of "an application under Section 482 of the Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita , 2023" for granting pre-arrest bail to the petitioner" and prays to rectify the said error. Also Mr. B.B. Gogoi, learned Addl. Public Prosecutor, Assam for the State respondent who has no objection. Prayer is allowed. The petitioner is directed to correct the said error in the bail application by filing an amended petition in the said A.B. No. 1754/2024 by inserting "an application under Section 482 of the Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita , 2023" in place of "an application under Section 438 of the Code of Criminal Procedure, 1973 praying for pre-arrest bail".
