¶1Heard Mr. M. Ahmed, learned counsel for the petitioner, Habibur Rahman.

¶2The petitioner has filed this anticipatory bail application under Section 482 of BNSS, 2023, with prayer for pre-arrest bail as he is apprehending arrest in connection with Garchuk P.S. Case No. 244/2024 under Sections 120B/ 420/ 406/ 34 IPC. Page No.# 2/2

¶3Also heard Mr. D. Das, learned Addl. Public Prosecutor for the State respondent.

¶4Learned Addl. P.P. has raised objection against the prayer of bail as the petitioner is involved in connection with the alleged offence.

¶5I have considered the submission at the bar with circumspection.

¶6I have perused the case diary.

¶7The allegation against the petitioner is that he is involved in accepting the consideration amount for a plot of land relating to which an agreement was accepted between the petitioner and the informant. After accepting a huge amount of consideration, the petitioner has been ignoring the informant and the complaint has incurred a huge loss.

¶8I have scrutinized the case diary. I have considered the role attributed to the petitioner. There are materials against the petitioner in the case diary.

¶9In view of the foregoing discussion, prayer for bail is rejected at this stage.

¶10The bail application stands dismissed.
