Ajoy Kr Ray v. The State of Assam

ORDER Date : 30.08.2024 Heard Mr. D. Gagai, learned counsel for the applicant. Heard Mr. P. Borthakur, learned Additional Public Prosecutor for the State of Assam.

¶2The present application has been filed praying for correction of the title page of the order dated 08.08.2024 by this Court in AB/2086/2024.

¶3In the said order, the father's name of the petitioner Ajoy Kumar Ray has been mentioned as Robinath Mili, whereas it should have been Robinath Ray. Moreover, the residence of the petitioner Ajoy Ray was shown as Chapar Bamundanga, whereas it should Page No.# 2/2 have been Chapar Barundanga.

¶4Mr. Gagai further submits that the Post Office of the petitioner Ajoy Kumar Ray has been shown to be Chapar, whereas it should have been Moterjhar.

¶5I have heard Mr. Gagai, learned counsel for the applicant. Heard Mr. Borthakur, learned Additional Public Prosecutor for the State of Assam, the errors pointed out by Mr. Gagai are typographical errors having no relationship with the merit of the order. Therefore, the title page of the said orders are corrected accordingly.

¶6This order shall form a part of the order dated 08.08.2024 passed by this Court in AB/2086/2024.

¶8The I.A. stands disposed of.
