ORDER Date : 18.01.2024 Heard Mr. P. Kataki, learned counsel for the petitioners. Also heard Mr. S. Dutta, learned standing counsel for the Panchayat & Rural Development appearing for the respondents. Mr. P. Kataki, has fairly submitted that the petitioner basing on the same charges was also subjected to a criminal proceeding. The Trial Court has convicted the petitioner vide an Judgment and Order dated 19.07.2012 passed by the Special Judge, Assam in Special Case No. 07/2010. The said judgment was carried up on an appeal before this Court by way of an appeal being Crl.A.141/2012. The said criminal appeal, upon consideration of the issues arising in the matter was dismissed by this Court vide order dated

02.04.2015. In view of the said position, the charges against the husband of the present petitioner having been established, he prays that he may be permitted to withdraw the present writ petition.
