19/11/2024 Heard Mr. A K Ahmed, learned counsel for the petitioner and Mr. S H Bora, learned Additional Public Prosecutor, Assam for the State.

¶2The petitioner, namely, Aminul Islam, has filed this application under Section 482 of the Page No.# 2/2 Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita, 2023, seeking pre-arrest bail apprehending his arrest in Basistha P.S. Case No. 587/2024 registered under Section 303(2) of BNS, 2023 read with Section 11(1)(d) of the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals Act, 1960 read with Section 13(1)/16 of the Assam Cattle Preservation Act, 2021 corresponding to G.R. No. 4795/2024.

¶3The Court by order dated 03.09.2024 granted interim bail to the petitioner, named above, in said Basistha P.S. Case No. 587/2024.

¶4During the deliberation of the matter, Mr. Bora, learned Additional Public Prosecutor, Assam on instruction submitted that police after completion of investigation of the case has already submitted charge-sheet in said Basistha P.S. Case No. 587/2024 vide Charge-Sheet No. 591/2024 dated 29.10.2024.

¶5In view of the above, the petitioner is directed to appear before the appropriate forum/authority for his regular bail in said Basistha P.S. Case No. 587/2024 corresponding to G.R. No. 4795/2024 on or before 26.11.2024.

¶6Till then (i.e., 26.11.2024), the petitioner shall remain on interim bail granted to him earlier on 03.09.2024 in said Basistha P.S. Case No. 587/2024.

¶7With the above observation and direction, this pre-arrest bail application stands disposed of.
