21.10.2024 Heard Dr. G. J. Sharma, learned counsel for the applicant. Also heard Mr. C. Sharma, learned Standing Counsel, Water Resources Department, Assam appearing for the OPs. This I.A. has been filed with a prayer to implead the Headmaster of the concerned school as respondent No.7 in the connected writ petition. Page No.# 3/3 Mr. Sharma, learned counsel for the applicant submits that since the whole controversy pertains to proper recording of date of birth of the applicant/writ petitioner in the school record and in view of the stand taken by the respondents in the matter it would be necessary to implead the Headmaster of the School. The learned counsel for the OPs/respondents does not oppose the prayer made in the I.A. In view of the above, the Headmaster of 137 Paharsingpara Primary School, Goalpara Sub-Division, District-Goalpara, as per the particulars given in para 4 of the I.A., is hereby impleaded as respondent No.7 in the connected writ petition. The applicant to file amended cause title in the writ petition within two weeks from today. Thereafter, the writ petition shall be listed for necessary orders. I.A. stands disposed of.
