23.09.2024 Ms. P. Baruah, learned counsel is present for the applicant. Ms. D. D. Barman, learned counsel is present for the OP No.1. This I.A. has been filed with a prayer to implead the OP No.3 in the connected contempt case on the ground that the said OP is the present incumbent in the Page No.# 2/2 office of the District Commissioner-cum-Chairman of the District Level Committee, Kamrup(M). Perused the statements made in the application. Having regard to the grounds taken in the I.A. and the submission of the applicant's counsel that despite demanding compliance of the Court's order the OP has failed to do so, the prayer for impleadment stands allowed. The OP vis. Sri Sumit Sattawan, District Commissioner, Kamrup(M) is hereby impleaded as respondent No.3 in the connected contempt case. The applicant/petitioner to file an amended cause title in the Contempt Case. Registry to list the matter thereafter for necessary orders. I.A. stands disposed of.
