ORDER 07-11-2024 Heard Mr. A. M. Khan, learned counsel for the petitioner and Mr. K. K. Parasar, learned Additional Public Prosecutor, Assam for the State.

¶2By this application filed under Section 483 BNSS, 2023, the petitioner, namely, Nur Jamal @ Nurfan, son of Sher Ali, resident of Village-Janata Bazar, Balikuri NC, P.S.-Kalgachia, District-Barpeta is seeking bail in Manikpur P.S. Case No. 79/2024 registered under Section 376 IPC read with Section 6 of the POCSO Act, 2012.

¶3During the deliberation of the matter, Mr. K. K. Parasar, learned Additional Public Prosecutor, Assam on instruction, submitted that police after completion of investigation of the case has already submitted the charge-sheet in said Manikpur P.S. Case No. 79/2024 vide Charge-Sheet No. 104/2024 dated 22.10.2024.

¶4In view of the above, the petitioner is directed to approach the appropriate forum/authority for his regular bail in said Manikpur P.S. Case No. 79/2024.
