The petitioner No. 2 is the handyman of the said vehicle. It is also submitted that the petitioners have been detained in custody for last 38 days since their arrest on

¶6It appears that the petitioners are the driver and handyman of the said vehicle from which three cattle were recovered. Considering the fact as well as the length of detention of the petitioners, this Court is of the view that further custodial interrogation of the accused-petitioners is not necessary for the purpose of investigation of the case.

¶7Accordingly, the accused-petitioners, named above, shall be released Page No.# 3/3 on bail in connection with Sonapur P.S. Case No. 171/2024 under Section 303(2)/317(2)/3(5) of BNS r/w Section 11(1)(a)(b)(c) of Prevention of Cruelty to Animal Act, 1960 and r/w Section 13(1)/14 Assam Cattle Preservation Act, 2021, on furnishing bail bond of Rs.20,000/- each with a suitable surety each of the like amount to the satisfaction of learned CJM, Kamrup(M), Guwahati, Assam.
