Judgment

ORDER Date : 24/10/2024 Vijay Bishnoi, CJ

Heard Mr. M. Sarma, learned Standing Counsel, Central Bank of India, appearing for the applicants. We have also heard Mr. S. Muktar, learned counsel for the opposite party. The matter comes upon for consideration of the IA preferred on behalf of the applicant Bank with the prayer to grant them 2 (two) months' time to comply with the order passed by this Court in Writ Appeal No. 11/2018 vide judgement dated 06/08/2024. Learned counsel appearing for the respondent Bank has submitted that the applicant Page No.# 3/3 Bank has principally decided to comply with the order passed by this Court. However, on account of retirement of the Disciplinary Authority, it will take some time to appoint a new Disciplinary Authority to take a fresh decision pursuant to the direction given by this Court. It is submitted that for that purpose, time may be extended to enable the applicant Bank to comply with the order passed by this Court. Learned counsel for the on-applicant has not seriously opposed the prayer made in the IA. Having heard the learned counsel for the parties and after going through the contents of the application, we deem it appropriate to grant 2(two) months' time to the applicant Bank, i.e. from the date of filing of this application on 05/09/2024, to comply with the order passed by this Court vide judgement dated 06/08/2024 in WA No. 11/2018. IA stands disposed of.
