18.12.2024 Heard Shri T.A. Choudhury, learned counsel for the petitioner, who has approached this Court with a claim for compassionate appointment. It is the case of the petitioner that his mother who was a Grade-IV employee (office peon) in the establishment of the APDCL had passed away on

15.01.2016. Shri K.P. Pathak, learned Standing Counsel, APDCL has however submitted that there is no scheme presently for appointment on compassionate ground. He has also raised the issue of gross delay which would not be in sync with the objective of the scheme. At this stage, the learned counsel for the petitioner submits that he would like to withdraw this writ petition with a liberty.
