¶1The instant application has been filed by the Applicants to implead the present Chairman of North Lakhimpur Municipal Board, North Lakhimpur, Smti. Page No.# 2/2 Nibedita Dutta as a co-respondent to the accompanying contempt application.

¶2This Court upon perusal of the materials on record including the affidavit so filed is of the opinion that the said Smti. Nibedita Dutta, the Chairman of North Lakhimpur Municipal Board having her Office at North Lakhimpur, Lakhimpur, Assam is required to be impleaded as the Respondent No.2 to the accompanying contempt application.

¶3Accordingly, Smti. Nibedita Dutta is arrayed as the Respondent No.2 in the accompanying writ petition.

¶4The Applicants are directed to file an amended Memo of Parties before the Registry of this Court by 05.01.2024 and on the basis of the instant order along with the amended Memo of Parties, the Registry shall make necessary changes in the accompanying contempt application and update the same in the CIS.

¶5Accordingly, I.A. stands allowed.
