04.10.2024 Heard Mr. P.J. Dutta, learned counsel for the petitioner and Mr. R.R Kaushik, learned Additional Public Prosecutor, Assam appearing for the State, respondent No.1.

¶2By this application under Section 483 of the Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita, 2023, the petitioner, namely, Abid Joynaluddin, son of Jalil Ali is seeking bail in connection with Latashil P.S Case No.88/2024, registered under Section 376(2)(n) of the IPC read with Section 6/8/12 of the POCSO Act, in which he was arrested on 20.08.2024 and since then, he is in custody.

¶3During the deliberation of the matter, Mr. R.R Kaushik, learned additional Public Prosecutor, Assam submits that police after investigating the matter, submitted the charge-sheet in said Latashil P.S Case No.88/2024, vide Charge-sheet No.84/2024 dated 29.09.2024.

¶4In view of the above, the petitioner may approach the appropriate forum for his regular bail in said Latashil P.S Case No.88/2024.

¶5With the above observation and direction, this bail application stands disposed of.
