Mr. H. P. Guwala, the learned counsel appearing on behalf of the Petitioner submits that he would like to withdraw the instant writ petition and instead take appropriate steps before the Additional Deputy Commissioner, Dibrugarh who is the Competent Authority for Land Acquisition.

¶2Taking into account the above, the instant writ petition stands closed on withdrawal.

¶3The withdrawal of the instant writ petition shall not be preclude the Petitioner to pursue in respect to the application dated 06.08.2024 before the Additional Deputy Commissioner who is the concerned Competent Authority for Land Acquisition and thereby bringing to the notice of the Page No.# 3/3 said Authority, the provisions of Section 3(H)(4) of the National Highways Act, 1956.
