Romen Kalita v. The State Bank of India and 3 Ors

O R D E R

18.09.2024 The learned counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioner submits that pursuant to the order passed by this Court on 13.09.2024, the Account of the petitioner has become operational. He therefore submits that the petitioner would not like to press the instant writ petition. However, the learned counsel for the petitioner submits that if in future again similar actions are taken, the petitioner may be permitted to again to approach this Court.

¶2Taking into account the above, the instant writ petition stands closed on withdrawal.

¶3The petitioner however would be at liberty to approach this Court if in future similar actions are resorted to.

¶4This Court also appreciates the assistance so provided by Mr. A. K. Sahewalla, the learned counsel appearing on behalf of the respondents to bring to a conclusion the instant writ petition.

¶5This Court also makes it clear that if the respondent Bank takes action against the petitioner, the same has to be done in accordance with the provision of law.
