, J.) Heard Ms. B. Sarma, learned Legal Aid Counsel for the applicant, who by Page No.# 2/2 means of this application filed under Section 5 of the Limitation Act, 1963 has prayed for condonation of delay of two days in preferring the criminal appeal against the judgment and order dated 05.07.2024 passed by the learned Sessions Judge, Dima Hasao in Sessions Case No. 6/16. Also heard Ms. S. Jahan, learned Additional Public Prosecutor, Assam. Ms. Sarma, learned counsel for the applicant, by referring to the averments made in paragraph 4, has submitted that there are reasonable explanation for the delay which is also of only two days. Ms. Jahan, learned Additional Public Prosecutor, Assam does not raise serious objection on the issue of condonation of delay. Considering the nature of the appeal and after hearing the learned counsel, the delay of two days in preferring the connected appeal is condoned and the I.A. stands allowed.
