22.07.2024 Heard Mr. R.C. Sencheti, learned counsel for the petitioner, who submits that he has filed a Vakalatnama, executed by the petitioner, appointing him as the counsel for the Page No.# 2/2 petitioner, before the Registry of this Court today. The learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the matter pertains to non-compliance of the order dated 22.04.2019 passed in WP(C) No.2552/2019, wherein this Court had directed the Chief Engineer (PHE) to consider the petitioner's representation dated 28.01.2019, for making payment of outstanding dues with interest within a period of 3 months. Mr. R.R. Gogoi, learned counsel for the respondent has submitted letter No.PHEE/M/G-51/2021-22/2722/24, dated 12.01.2022, issued by the Executive Engineer

(PHE), Morigaon Division, to the Chief Engineer (PHE) Water Assam, Hengrabari, which states that there is no outstanding bills pending in Morigaon Division in respect of the supply of "ferric alum" by the petitioner. The letter also states that the concerned S.O. (Store) and AEE (PHE), Morigaon Sub-Division have reported that there is no pending bill against the petitioner. The letter dated 12.01.2022 is made a part of the record and marked as Annexure-X. In view of the above letter dated 12.01.2022 issued by the Executive Engineer
