ORDER
23.09.2024 Heard Mr. R. K. D. Choudhury, learned Dy. SGI appearing for the applicants. Also heard Mr. D. Chetri, learned counsel appearing for the sole respondent. This I.A. has been filed by the Union of India and its officials seeking early hearing of the connected writ petition being WP(C) No.2988/2020 which is pending disposal before this Court. I have perused the grounds stated in the I.A. Mr. Choudhury submikts that due to the interim order operating in the case, the departmental proceeding has been stalled thus causing serious prejudice to the interest of the department. Mr. Chetri, learned counsel for the OP, does not have any objection to the prayer for early hearing of the writ petition. In view of the above and as agreed to by learned counsel for both the sides, WP(C) No.2988/2020 is directed to be listed for final hearing on 29.10.2024 as a fixed item. I.A. stands disposed of.
