Heard Mr. R.I. Bhuyan, the learned counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioners and Mr. S. Baruah, the learned Government Advocate appearing on behalf of the Respondents State.

¶2The instant writ petition has been filed challenging the inaction on the part of the Officer-in-Charge of the Silchar Police Station in respect to the FIR which was filed on 16.01.2023 as well as the subsequent information being given from time to time.

¶3Mr. S. Baruah, the learned Government Advocate appearing on behalf of the respondents submitted that the FIR which has been filed on

16.01.2023 in connection with Silchar P.S. Case No. 327/2023 registered under Sections 448/427/379/34 of the IPC and after due investigation it Page No.# 3/3 was found that it was a civil dispute between the petitioners and one Shri Helim Ahmed Choudhury and accordingly a final report has been submitted.

¶4Taking into account the above, nothing further remains in the instant writ petition for which the instant writ petition stands closed. JUDGE Comparing Assistant
