09.02.2024 Heard Ms. D. Dutta, learned counsel for the petitioner and Mr. M. Sharma, learned Standing Counsel, UCO Bank. In view of the order passed today in I.A.(Civil) No. 357/2024, the order dated 10.01.2024 stands modified to Rs. 6,00,000/- (Rupees Six Lakh only) instead of Rs.5,00,000/- (Rupees Five Lakh Only) as mentioned therein. As per today's order passed in I.A.(Civil) No. 357/2024, petitioner is entitled to Rs. 6,00,000/- (Rupees Six Lakh only) as ex-gratia payment which the respondent Bank is permitted to release within a period of two weeks from the date of certified copy of this order. In terms of the above, the writ petition also stands closed. Copy of the order passed in the interlocutory application should be retained in the writ petition
