Heard Mr. D. Mahanta, the learned counsel appearing on behalf of the Petitioner and Ms. P. R. Mahanta, the learned Government Advocate appearing on behalf of the Respondent No.1. I have also heard Ms. S. Baruah, the learned Standing counsel appearing on behalf of the Respondent Nos. 2, 3 and 4 and Mr. S. Rana, the learned counsel appearing on behalf of the Respondent No.5.

¶2It is seen that the Petitioner has challenged a notice dated

25.10.2021 whereby the Circle Officer, Jorhat East Revenue Circle had directed the Petitioner as well as the private Respondent and another to remain present at the time of measurement of the land of Periodic Patta No.632 of Dag No.8966/10423 under Block No.13 of Jorhat Town Mouza which was to be conducted on 28.10.2021. It is seen that pursuant thereto, the Petitioner had challenged the said order. However, there is no stay and in the meantime, the said demarcation have already been carried out. Page No.# 3/3

¶3Under such circumstances, nothing remains in the instant writ petition for which the instant writ petition stands closed.
