¶1Heard learned counsel Mr. D. P. Borah for the petitioner/applicant DipakPatowary.

¶2This application has been filed by the petitioner/applicant with prayer for extending some more time to appear before the Investigating Officer and co-operate with the investigation in connection with Dhubri P.S. Case No. 268/2024. Page No.# 2/2

¶3Heard Mr. D. Das, learned Additional Public Prosecutor, Assam for the respondent State.

¶4I have considered the submissions at the Bar.

¶5Vide order dated 06.09.2024, in connection with A.B. No. 2368/2024, the petitioner/applicant was directed to appear before the Investigating Officer within 1 week and co-operate with the investigation of the aforementioned Dhubri P.S. Case No. 268/2024 registered under Sections 420/408 of the IPC. It is submitted on behalf of the petitioner/applicant that the applicant was arrested on

09.09.2024 in connection with Bongaigaon P.S. Case No. 296/2024 registered under Sections 61(2)(a)/336(30/316(2)/340(2)/316(4)/342(1) of the BNS, 2023.

¶6I have considered the submissions at the Bar that the petitioner/applicant may be given 1 week's time to appear before the Investigating Officer and co-operate with the investigation of the aforementioned Dhubri P.S. Case No. 268/2024. Application is allowed. The Applicant is accorded 1 week's time from today to co-operate with the investigation.

¶7The terms and conditions of the order dated 06.09.2024, in connection with A.B. No. 2368/2024, will, however remain the same.

¶8In terms of the above observation, I.A. stands disposed of.
