21.10.2024 Heard Mr. R. Mazumdar, learned counsel for the applicant. Also heard Mr. S. C. Keyal, learned counsel appearing for the OPs. This I.A. has been filed with a prayer to implead the present incumbent in the office of the Regional Director (NER), Staff Selection Commission, Guwahati in the connected Contempt Petition on the ground that the said Officer is responsible for implementation of the Court's order. Mr. Mazumdar submits that although his client has demanded compliance of the order of the Court, no action has been taken in the matter by the incumbent Regional Director (NER), Staff Selection Commission, Guwahati. Hence this application. Mr. Keyal, learned counsel for the OPs submits that he has no instruction to file any counter-affidavit opposing the prayer made in the I.A. Page No.# 3/3 In view of the above, considering the grounds stated in the application, the prayer for impleadment is hereby allowed. The OP No.5 i.e. Sri Bhakti Prasad Sonowal, CWES, the Regional Director (NER), Staff Selection Commission, Housefed Complex, Banphool Nagar, Dispur, Guwahati – 781006 is hereby impleaded as respondent No.5 in the connected Contempt Case. The applicant to file an amended cause title in the Contempt Case, whereafter, the matter shall be listed for necessary orders. I.A. stands disposed of.
